From a subject of improving health – keeping fit is chosen by many beauties around the world
Maybe many people looking at the photo above have guessed what kind of “beauty” this is, but one thing is for sure, the number of people who do not know or see it somewhere without knowing the name also accounts for a lot. Because Pilates is inherently still quite a strange subject in Vietnam and is classified as a physical exercise with a training process and effect similar to physical therapy, instead of sports or gymnastics. as many people think.
Abroad, Pilates has been quite popular for about 6-7 years now and has become a global craze among the middle and upper classes. Especially for celebrities, they also give this sport the most favor because this is a type of exercise that not only helps improve health but also beautifies the body, cures some diseases of joints or bones in a way. effective.
And the man after the big accident of his life was determined to bring Pilates back to Vietnam
Eric Tran – a brother, a friend that I happened to know more than 1 year ago. At that time, he acted as an expert and the first large-scale Niche perfume collector in Vietnam with the most mysterious scent room in Saigon.
But it was a mistake because I didn’t know that before coming to the Niche perfume path, Eric Tran was a very famous person in the world of fitness – bodybuilding not only in Vietnam but also throughout Southeast Asia with as a professional Pilates instructor. At the same time, he also owns the largest and most methodical Pilates gym in Vietnam for more than 5 years.
According to Mr. Eric, he did not know what Pilates was before, sometimes just jogging or going to the gym like everyone else to exercise. Then one day while in Belgium, he suddenly had an accident after supporting his friend from a fall, which injured him and almost lost the motor function of his legs.
“No one expected that a seemingly simple act of supporting his friend would still cause incalculable consequences. After that accident, he could not live, maintain personal hygiene as usual and have many useless things. same inconvenience, let alone going to the gym or going for a run.
During that time, he often had extremely negative feelings about his life. Wondering if I can go back to the way I was before, if these legs will stand up or move like a normal person… There’s so much to do but I can only lie down and think about it toss”.
At that time, fortunately, he was introduced to Pilates by a friend, and then helped him practice every day. After only a few months, his muscle groups had a response, everything was moving flexibly and gradually he was convinced that Pilates had completely changed his life and instead of just training normally, He began to research, research, and attend training classes from basic to professional in this subject around the world.
In 2012, Eric and his friend, old benefactor Vincent Tran – Gymnastics Master in Belgium, and famous therapist in Europe founded the first Pilates gym in Vietnam. Vietnam.
In the process of building his gym, Mr. Eric said he went through many difficulties and struggles to keep his own brand of founders alive.
The biggest reason is that this subject is too new, too foreign to Vietnamese people. Not to mention Pilates is extremely difficult to practice, requires patience, perseverance and is supervised by a knowledgeable coach. So it took him and his partner more than 5 years to build everything from expanding knowledge – approaching customers. At the same time, he also has to personally guide the classes of students and then slowly select talented and knowledgeable people to train to become professional coaches and cooperate later.
“This path is not as easy to follow as other mass gyms or sports, but it is open to experts and full coaches to recruit. Up to now, he has only recruited people The coach has been trained by him or Vincent because he knows where their standards and standards start. And it is also because of the “closed” training and recruitment process that he has always kept the quality. quality of our coaching team for nearly 10 years, although difficulties are inevitable.”
Live healthy, live beautifully on a bed of hundreds of millions and things that are not for people… lazy
According to Eric, Pilates looks gentle, soft, with few aids when practicing, not easy. Nearly every pose, every Pilates movement is “moving” on a bed with lots of strange accessories around.
It is known that each of these beds is imported directly from Spain by Mr. Eric at a cost of several hundred million / unit. The support tools on this bed are installed extremely delicately because they are measured and balanced extremely accurately when applied on the human body to both burn energy and squeeze fat, perfect Improve your body fit without causing excess muscle (muscle) like weightlifting methods. In addition, those who have problems with the spine, shoulder blades, pelvis, … can also be restored, increasing flexibility gradually over time.
But in return, Pilates also has a pretty big disadvantage that it can’t be practiced at home because without a bed is like going for a run without a yard or without an exercise machine. So if anyone is lazy and doesn’t want to spend a lot of their time practicing, they definitely can’t go a long way. Not to mention the cost is also quite high, on average, each person usually has to spend at least 5-7 million VND for about 20 hours of practice in the room.
For women, Pilates is especially effective, so that’s why the number of participants in this subject is now more than 60% female. Accidentally created its own community with a new fitness and beauty trend in Saigon in which there are many famous people who are models, actors,… business people, office ladies and even people. Foreigners living or working in Vietnam often come here to practice and exchange knowledge to soon be effective and boost each other’s spirits.
